Linear switches are the quitetest, they're just a spring, so completely silent unless you bottom out the keys. But Cherry linears aren't that great, they're pretty rough and scratchy, I'd recommend Gateron Yellow instead
The black and red switches are both linear; this means that the force needed to depress the key ramps up at a constant rate, with no tactile bump or audible click. The black switches have a high actuation force (60g), which some users find tiring. The red switch's actuation force is lower (45g). The yellow is 50g weight with 4mm of actuation. The huntsman has just 1mm of actuation distance, and as a red, has about 45g force i'm betting. Nothing will bottom out faster given you push hard than what you have, other than lowprofile keyboards. What it sounds like you want is a lighter switch, not a faster one.
